What is a Video Encoder ICs?
A Video Encoder ICs (integrated circuit) is an electric circuit within an integrated chip. This chip sits within a semiconductor product family and is also known as a Video Server. A typical encoder chip has been designed to enable an existing analog CCTV video surveillance system to be integrated with a video network system. They act as a high quality converters of digital video data to analog video data. A Video Encoder allows the user to migrate an analog CCTV system to a network video system, it enables users to gain the benefits of network video, without having to discard existing analog equipment such as analog CCTV cameras and coaxial cabling.
