RS PRO 10 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 63 V DC, Through Hole


This RS PRO general-purpose electrolytic capacitor uses electrolytes to create electrostatic fields and store energy. It's an axial type capacitor, which means the leads come out of either end of its cap.

The product features a safety vent construction that releases the gas to prevent an explosion if the voltage gets too high. The unit is a through-hole component, which means you run its leads through holes in your printed circuit board (PCB) board to install it. This mounting method ensures the capacitor withstands environmental stress well.

You can find electrolytic capacitors like this one used for decoupling and preventing voltage fluctuations in filtering devices and storing power in flash lamps. This product complies with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards, which assure only minimal amounts of any harmful materials are used to make it.
