Looking to store power in a flash lamp or prevent voltage fluctuations in filtering devices? Use this RS PRO electrolytic capacitor. It uses electrolytes to create electrostatic fields and store energy. As it’s a radial type, both leads come out of the same side.

The capacitor allows for through-hole mounting, meaning you can easily install it by running the leads through holes in your printed circuit board (PCB). It also has a safety vent construction, which prevents explosions if you exceed the maximum voltage.

This unit complies with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements, so it's MADE with only minimal amounts of any harmful materials. Electrolytic capacitors like this one are often used by electrical engineers to suppress high-frequency noise in power supply signals.
