MCP6031 Operational Amplifier Photodiode PICtail Plus Board

The Microchip MCP6031 Photodiode PICtail Plus Board is an accessory for the Microchip Explorer 16 Development Board that demonstrates the MCP6031 Operational Amplifier in a Photodiode application.

The featured MCP6031 Operational Amplifier is utilised in a transimpedance circuit to convert the photodiode current to voltage. This voltage is then converted from analogue into a digital signal by a PIC Microcontroller installed on the Explorer 16.
