ebm-papst AC Axial Fan

The ebm-papst axial fan has 2650rpm motor speed. It has a supply voltage rating of 230VAC and dimensions of 119mm x 119mm x 38mm. It has an extended ball bearing life to ensure fault-free use for a significant period of time (37,500 hours at 40°C). This ensures ebm-papst AC fans to provide a flexible and dependable cooling solution for applications that require an axial fan to be mounted in any axial position. This fan has a power consumption rating of 19W.

What is an AC Axial Fan?
AC axial fans are used when DC voltage is not available and are designed to create airflow with a high flow rate and medium pressure. This axial fan has an impeller surrounded by blades, which works in a similar way to a propeller. The motor of this fan is integrated into the hub of the impeller to provide a compact fan unit. The impeller draws in air axially in a parallel direction to the revolving motor shaft and forces air out in the same direction. An axial fan is surrounded by flanged housing with mounting holes, allowing it to be mounted inside the equipment.

External Rotor Motor
Unlike traditional internal rotor motors where the rotating shaft is surrounded by electromagnetic coils, ebm-papst fans feature an external rotor motor. In an external rotor motor, the magnetic coils are encased inside a rotating shell. The advantage of this design is that external rotor motors are more compact in size, running more efficiently and are less prone to overheating than internal rotor motors

Expertly Designed
The fan impellers and the inner shape housing of the ebm-papst compact AC axial fans are expertly designed using state-of-the-art computer software. The blades are aerodynamically engineered and dynamically balanced in two planes for optimum performance. The air output and motor performance are precisely matched to the size of the fan which results in low noise, even at high backpressure.

Housing Features
The housings of these compact AC axial fans feature grounding lugs with M4 and UNC threads.
How Do I Connect the Fan?
These 4000 N series axial fans feature 2 flat 2.8mm x 0.5mm blade terminals. To connect this fan, you need to purchase a cable with a mating receptacle connector (see stock numbers 118-3077, 826-1329, 118-3156 and 118-3099)
