Eaton TDC10 Series Cartridge Fuse, 10A Current Rating, 100V Voltage - TDC10-10A

This cartridge fuse provides fast-acting overcurrent protection for electrical and electronic equipment operating at low AC voltages. It is designed for insertion into inline or panel-mounted holders where prompt interruption of fault currents is required to protect downstream components and circuitry.

Features and Benefits:

• Fast-acting characteristic for Rapid fault interruption
• Glass body allows clear Visual inspection of element
• Rated for 10A to protect moderate current circuits
• F speed designation for quick melting under overload
• Complies with recognised safety standard BS2950A
• Suitable for low-voltage systems up to 100VAC

Applications

• Suitable for protecting control cabinets in automation systems
• Ideal for safeguarding power supplies in electronic assemblies
• Used with panel-mounted holders in distribution panels
• Can be used for protection in mechanical drive controls

What material enables Visual condition checks?

The transparent construction makes the internal fuse link visible, allowing Rapid assessment of operation without removal.

How does the fuse behave under transient overloads?

The fast-acting characteristic causes the element to melt quickly when excessive current persists, limiting energy let-through in short-duration faults.

What mounting formats are compatible?

It is intended for use with cartridge-style holders and panel-mounted links designed for 6.3mm diameter fuses.

Which electrical environments is it suited to?

It is appropriate for low-voltage AC installations up to 100VAC and typical industrial control circuits.

How does its current rating influence selection?

A 10A rating makes it appropriate where circuit protection is required for moderate loads while coordinating with upstream protective devices.
