RS PRO Straight 50 Ω RF Adapter SMA Plug to SMA Socket 18 GHz

This male-to-female SubMiniature version A (SMA) adapter from RS PRO allows for an SMA connector to be extended slightly. This could be used in a situation where a socket on a piece of equipment is difficult to get to, moving it out a short distance to allow a larger connector to be fitted. It could also be applied where a connection needs to be made and broken repeatedly, moving the strain from the connector on the device to a more easily replaced adapter. You can also use it as a panel passthrough, with a small hole cut for the adapter and then cables connected on either side.

SMA connectors are rated for frequencies up to 18 GHz, making this suitable for wireless LAN and other radio communication signals in the super-high frequency (SHF) band. The connector is very small, making it the ideal choice for tight, enclosed spaces.
