RS PRO 50 Ω Straight Bulkhead Mount, TNC Connector Bulkhead Fitting, Jack
This RS PRO TNC (Threaded Neill-Concelman) connector is a threaded jack designed for applications with an impedance of 50 Ω. This reversed polarity version has female contacts in the plug where male contacts are normally found, which can prevent users from connecting the wrong type of cable and damaging the connector interior.
The threaded coupling helps create a secure connection for a more reliable signal. It also provides good resistance to vibration, meaning it won't loosen or come apart when used in heavy-duty applications.
This connector jack has a nickel-plated brass body and gold-plated copper alloy contacts for excellent corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation is resistant to chemical damage and extreme temperatures, making this cable a good choice for use in demanding environments. It also offers crimp termination, which is gas-tight and prevents moisture from reaching the cables.
