RS PRO Cover

An RS PRO D-Sub Connector dust cover offers a simple and inexpensive method to protect valuable equipment from dust and static. All you have to do is push-fit it onto any female 15-pin D-Sub terminal during idle time.

Made from ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic with a rating of UL 94 V0, this dust cover is flame-retardant and will stop burning within 10 seconds. The cover is nickel-coated on the inside for enhanced electromagnetic interference / radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielding. This shielding blocks signals and creates an enclosure around the terminal to protect from interference. Part of the RS PRO family, this product is tested stringently for quality and compliance with British and EU electrostatic discharge standards.

Apart from dust and interference, this D-sub connector accessory is also effective in shielding electronic components, peripherals, accessories or any device from static, physical and chemical damage.
