It's a cinch to convert a signal from digital to analogue using this data acquisition terminal block from Keysight Technologies. The unit's four channels output voltage up to 16V DC and current up to 20mA, so you can conveniently establish setpoints for your control system. Thanks to its isolation, there's little chance of electric shocks giving you a jolt. This also means you can stack a number of digital-to-analogue converters together for a higher voltage output.
