Hirose 0.5 mm FH34SRJ Series SMT FPC/FFC ZIF Connectors

FH34SRJ 0.5 mm ZIF (zero insertion force) FPC/FFC SMT connectors with low profile height of 1.00 mm and a narrow width of 3.8 mm. These FH34SRJ 0.5 mm FPC/FFC connectors have high retention force and feature a back-flip rotating actuator which opens from the back of the connector. The flip lock actuator is simple to use and allows easy insertion of the FPC and provides a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. When fully closed the actuator produces a tactile click to confirm it is firmly locked. The connector is supplied with the actuator already open so the FPC /FFC can be inserted immediately. These FH34SRJ 0.5 mm ZIF FPC/FFC connectors have top and bottom contacts for design flexibility. The housings feature entry chamfers on the inner walls for a smooth FPC/FFC insertion. The bottom of these FPC/FFC connectors is solid without any exposed contacts allowing the connector to be mounted over conductive traces on the PCB. The upper surface of the connector is flat to enable vacuum pick-up and placement. These FH34SRJ 0.5 mm ZIF FPC/FFC connectors satisfy halogen free requirements in accordance with IEC61249-2-21
