Molex Easy On 0.5 mm ZIF Right Angle SMT FPC Connectors with Flip Lock Actuator - 51296, 52892 and 52893 Series

Easy On 51296, 52892 and 52893 Series ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) right angle SMT mount FPC connectors with a 0.5 mm pitch and a space saving design making them ideal for use in tight packaging applications. These Easy On FPC connectors feature a flip lock style actuator which provides a secure connection between the FPC and the connector terminals. This flip lock design also enables easy insertion of the FPC. The 52892 series connector also features cable retention guides inside the housing to align and secure the FPC. The connector contacts are bottom aligned and are designed to move with the cable when it is pulled up or down. This feature helps provide a secure contact retention force and ensures that electrical contact is maintained. Solder tabs (or nails) on the base of the connector provide secure PCB retention and strain relief for the solder tail joints.
