Q: Does this cable transfer an audio signal from a source to projector or monitor?
A: A typical HDMI cable is able to transfer an audio signal, however as this is an adapter from HDMI to DVI, its unable to transfer such signal. DVI ports do not feature such an option. Audio has to be transferred separately using an optional connection.
