Product Details

GF708 MagnetoResistiver Magnetic Field Sensors

The GF708 magnetic field sensors from Sensitec are based on the GMR (Giant MagnetoResistive) effect. They feature a Wheatstone bridge with on-chip flux concentrators, providing an improvement in sensitivity.
The GF708 sensor can be used for highly sensitive applications with a sensitivity of 130 mV/V/mT. Alternatively it can be used as an indexing sensor.

Features and Benefits
Large air gap
Large permissible air gap tolerances
High switching accuracy
Easy identification of field direction
Simple integration
Allows use of small magnets
Allows detection of smaller particles or material defects (NDT)
Large permissible distance to target
High resolution for magnetic imaging

Product Applications
Suitable applications for the GF708 sensors include switching applications and magnetic field measurement.
