As this stainless steel rod from RS PRO combines high mechanical strength with corrosion resistance, it's a versatile choice for your construction projects.
The metal rod is made of 303 austenitic stainless steel, which is non-magnetic, heat-resistant and has very low electrical conductivity. That means it's perfect for use in high-temperature environments and won't interfere with nearby electronic equipment and systems. It can be bonded or shaped either by machining or welding, and it's safe for use in food and drug processing, as it's non-reactive.
