RS PRO 304 mm x 12 mm x 8 mm 316 Stainless Steel Rectangular Bar
This 304 mm-long rectangular bar from RS PRO is a sturdy option for your construction tasks. It's made of 316-grade austenitic stainless steel, which means it has excellent corrosion resistance thanks to its molybdenum content. It's used in marine environments and the chemical industry, where pit-type corrosion poses a problem.
It has a tensile strength of 510 MPa and a hardness of 183 HB, so it's an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications. The stainless steel material is also food-safe, so you can use it for dairy and food processing. It won't interfere with sensitive applications such as marine equipment or photography as the steel is non-magnetic.
