3M Aluminium Foil EMI Shielding Tape
3M™ Aluminium Foil Tape has a 2mm smooth aluminium foil backing coated with a conductive acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. Its acrylic adhesive has good resistance to oxidation, solvents, and oils.
3M™ Embossed Aluminium EMI Shielding Tape 1276, 25.4 mm x 16 m
The 3M 1267 Embossed Aluminium foil tape features a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive makes it easy to apply with soft aluminium foil backing. Its used for grounding and EMI shielding in equipment, components and shielded rooms.
The 3M 1267 Foil Tape is typically used in applications requiring electrical conductivity from the subject through to the adhesive and foil backing. The pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, allows the tape to adhere well to uneven surfaces. The embossed tape cuts through the layer of adhesive for establishing contact throughout the tape to the subject.

Benefits of choosing 3M Aluminium Foil Tape
Hot and cold temperature versatility. 3M foil tape works in temperatures to which other tapes can diminish. Performing in cold conditions allows this 3M tape to be a market leader, as other tapes see the adhesive harden and begin to lose sticking strength. On the contrary, extreme heat can melt adhesives of tapes, but not the 3M foil tape making it versatile for most applications.
An Acrylic Adhesive backing. This 3M Aluminium foil tape is coated in a superior acrylic adhesive, which works well in extreme cold and heat conditions. This matters when comparing to most duct tapes that are made with a rubber adhesive. This is then known to delaminate from its backing in these extreme conditions. Other adhesives can offer greater resistance but will lack mechanical strength, poor ageing resistance and UV light.
Longevity of foil tape. This tape is ideally used for electroplating or as a radiation barrier in applications where it needs to be conductive both thermally and electrically. Rubber adhesive provides a strong, resistant from flames, UV light, chemicals and radiation.
