Overview

The robust ABS plastic housing in which all operating elements are protected is an essential feature of the W34 series. This makes it possible to also use these sensors outdoors. It is especially recommended to use the die-cast zinc housing (W24-2 series) for harsh and extreme ambient conditions The sensors are equipped with a minimum of different functions in order to reduce the diversity of the devices and, thus, their storage. In addition, both DC and DC / AC devices are offered in this form. The W34 series includes photoelectric sensors with background suppression, reflex barriers and single-beam systems. Photoelectric sensors are characterized by high accuracy at a great distance and high insensitivity to stray light.
