Looking for a through-beam sensor for detecting objects? Choose this fork-style photoelectric sensor from RS PRO. It's easy to use as it features U-shaped photoelectric sensors with LED (light-emitting diode) indicators.


The sensor's housing is made of an aluminium alloy material, so it's strong and resistant to corrosion. It's also well-suited to outdoor installations as it has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP67. This means it's dust-tight and can withstand submersion in one metre of water for up to 30 minutes. For added safety in the event of faulty wiring, the device will cut power to the transmitter's sensitive electronic circuits for protection against reverse polarity.
