Phoenix Contact DIN Rail Redundancy Module, 18 (W) x 90 (H) x 61mm (D) - STEP-DIODE/5-24DC/2X5/1X10 - 2868606

Use this diode redundancy module from Phoenix Contact to decouple two power supply units of the same type connected in parallel. It can also isolate them from each other for redundancy. With the PSUs decoupled, a short circuit in one of the power supplies won't have any effect on the load. This helps to improve electrical safety and ensures users are protected from the risk of electric shocks.

The unit's screw connectors help you to achieve secure electrical connections that can be relied upon, even in vibrating equipment. Snap it easily onto a DIN rail to quickly build a neat and compact system. An operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C makes it suitable for use in demanding environments. Redundancy modules like this one are frequently hooked up to manufacturing machinery and IT systems.

• Rugged design ensures a long service life

• Permanent monitoring of redundancy gives you peace of mind

• Compact dimensions of 18 (width) x 90 (height) x 61mm (depth) make it easy to fit into small enclosures

• Manufacturing

• IT systems

Why use a diode redundancy module?

STEP DIODE Redundancy Module

Using the redundancy module, it is possible for two power supply units of the same type connected in parallel on the, output side to increase performance or for redundancy to be 100% isolated from one another.
