IDEM SCR-21/31/73-i VIPER Screw Safety Relay

Professional range of IDEM VIPER Safety Relays with screw terminals. The safety relays incorporate expansion units. The relays can be directly wired to increase the number of safety output contacts. Designed to meet the latest safety standard and offer enhanced LED diagnostics and simplified wiring. Typical applications include safety interlock switches and emergency e-stop devices door guard monitoring.

The VIPER SCR-31-i Safety Relay from IDEM offers you exclusive additional added diagnostics, designed and manufactured in the UK, meeting the latest safety standards. Part of this exclusive offering is the enhanced LED diagnostic features and simplified wiring that allows you ease of access to any wires you need to connect.

The SCR-31-i comes packed with internal logic, which uses force guided relays to achieve cross monitoring. This is especially useful in ensuring that a single fault doesn’t lead to the loss of the safety function whilst also being able to maintain the overall safety function of the device so that all faults are detected in time or before the next safety demand is required.

What are some of the features of the SCR-31-i?

• Outputs 3NC contacts and 1NO contact – Normally open / normally closed options are exceptionally useful for emergency stops when an accident has occurred.
• Features a feedback circuit allowing you to monitor any external contacts
• Visual indication LEDS are available, allowing easy and early diagnosis and status of the relay functions
• Safety levels up to PLe, SIL CL 3, Category 4
• Multifunction purpose manual or automatic starts
• Can be used on a single channel or dual channel operation
• You can further increase your number of outputs with the use of expansion units
