Panasonic TPG series tantalum capacitors are part of the POSCAP range. Constructed from sintered tantalum as the anode material, the large surface area of the porous materials enables large capacitance up to 220 μF. High in electric conductivity, the conductive polymer utilised for the electrolyte enables low ESR. TPG tantalum capacitors have high heat resistance and reliability making them suitable for high frequency and digital devices.

POSCAP utilizes sintered Tantalum as an anode system and highly conductive polymer created with Panasonic's unique method as a cathode system. This enabled POSCAP to be thin, small and at the same time have low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and superior high frequency characteristics. These features make POSCAP one of the best candidates for digital/high frequency applications. POSCAP also has high reliability and heat resistance.
