This RS PRO nitrile/polyvinyl chloride (PVC) foam insulation blocks out low-frequency sounds such as the noise of factory machinery. This makes it an appropriate selection for the marine, automotive and aerospace industries, where applications with background engine or machinery noises are common.

The insulation's material has a controlled cell structure that absorbs noises effectively for high-quality acoustic properties. It's suitable for use at temperatures between -20°C and +100°C thanks to its PVC/nitrile construction.
