Schneider Electric CA3SK Series Contactor, 10A Operational Current, 24V Coil Voltage - CA3SK11BD

This Compact contactor is a control relay designed for control-circuit switching in industrial automation and electrical installations. It operates from a 24V DC Coil and provides a two-pole switching arrangement with one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact, intended for moderate-duty control tasks up to the specified rated voltages and currents.

Features & Benefits

• 24V Coil voltage offering a low-voltage control Interface
• 10A operational current enabling moderate load switching
• Rated insulation up to 690V supporting high-voltage use cases
• Screw clamp terminals for secure wiring and varied conductor sizes
• Mechanical endurance of 10M cycles for frequent operation
• Compact 27mm width for space-saving panel layouts

Applications

• Suitable for control-circuit switching in automation panels
• Ideal for relay logic and interlock functions in machinery
• used with DC control systems requiring 1NO+1NC feedback
• Can be used for modular DIN-rail or plate-mounted assemblies

What conductor sizes can be connected to the terminals?

Solid conductors up to 6mm² and flexible conductors up to 6mm² are supported with specified arrangements for multi-core connections, with recommended tightening torque 0.8 N·m using a Pozidriv No. 1 head.

How does it behave electrically during Coil operation and release?

Typical Coil energisation closes the NO contact within 8 to 12 MS and opens the NO within 4 to 6 MS on de-energisation, whereas the NC contact switches within 10 to 18 MS on energisation and 6 to 8 MS on release.

What environmental conditions affect installation?

The unit is rated for operation between -20 to 50 °C and is suitable up to 2,000 m altitude without derating

it carries an IP2X degree of protection.

What mounting and protection options are available?

It accepts both DIN-rail and plate mounting and uses screw-clamp connections

protective treatment meets IEC 60068 standards for enhanced durability.

Note

Relays are positively guided.
