Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 Female Crimp Terminal Contact, 30 to 26AWG - 43030 Series - 43030-0010

Create a connection to a printed circuit board (PCB) with this female crimp contact from Molex. It's designed for use with Micro-Fit 3.0 plug and receptacle housings, making it simple to create a complete setup. The phosphor bronze contacts are plated with highly conductive tin for a reliable connection. Its locking tangs ensure multiple points of contact and a firm join, so there's no need to worry about the connection coming loose. Use this crimp contact for a strong, corrosion-resistant join that keeps moisture and contaminants out, even when used in demanding industrial settings.

• Low maximum contact resistance of 10mΩ to prevent power loss

• Suitable for wires ranging in size from 30 to 26AWG (American Wire Gauge) for greater versatility

• Wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C for use in demanding environments

Applications

• Automotive manufacturing

• Hydroelectric systems

• Data and communications processes

How does a crimp terminal work?

A crimp terminal is used to create a solder-free electrical connection by inserting the stripped end of the wires to be joined into the terminal and then compressing the wires. This results in an air-tight join with good mechanical strength.

Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 mm Crimp Contacts

Pin and receptacle crimp contacts for use in the Micro-Fit 3.0 mm plug and receptacle housings. These crimp pin and receptacle terminals feature multiple points of contact for a reliable electrical connection and a higher current carrying capacity. Locking tangs on the crimp contacts secure them firmly in the connector housing. The 46235 series crimp contacts are RMF (Reduced Mating Force) contacts which have a reduced engagement and disengagement force for ease of use. These Micro-Fit crimp contacts are available with a range of platings and wire size ranges for design flexibility

Features and Benefits

• Multiple points of contact for reliable electrical connection

• Locking tangs for secure connection in housing

• Reduce Mating Force versions for ease of use
