StarTech Ethernet Cable, 2.5m Cable Length, Blue Jacket - N6PAT250CMBLS

This ethernet cable is a slim Cat6 LSZH patch lead designed to provide Gigabit and PoE++ connectivity in dense network environments. It combines a low-smoke, zero-halogen jacket with stranded copper conductors to support high-speed data transfer and safer installations in confined or poorly ventilated spaces. The cable is unscreened and fitted with snagless RJ45 connectors to ease routing and protect the connector latch during installation.

Features and Benefits:

• Supports 10Gbps speeds and 100W PoE++ delivery
• 28AWG stranded copper for improved electrical conductivity
• LSZH sheath reduces toxic fumes in enclosed areas
• 50-micron gold-plated contacts to minimise signal loss
• Individually tested to Cat6 standards for consistent performance

Applications

• Suitable for high-density data centre patching
• Used with Gigabit switches and PoE cameras
• Ideal for crowded racks and patch panels
• Can be used in transport or self-contained environments
• Used for edge and on-premises network deployments

What conductor arrangement does it use?

It uses four-pair unshielded twisted-pair wiring with stranded copper conductors.

How is connector durability addressed?

The RJ45 plugs feature snagless moulding to protect the latch during installation and routing.

What operating temperatures can it tolerate?

It operates between +10°C and +80°C.

How is electrical continuity and performance verified?

Each cable is tested with an industry cable analyser to meet ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 parameters.

What certification does the cable carry?

The cable is CE certified and carries an LSZH fire-behaviour rating.
