StarTech NLBL Series Ethernet Cable, 3M Cable Length, Blue Jacket - NLBL-3M-CAT6A-PATCH

This ethernet cable provides a screened Cat6a connection designed for high-speed network links and Power over Ethernet delivery. It combines foiled and braided pair screening with stranded copper conductors and a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket to support 10GBASE-T installations and environments where reduced smoke and toxic emissions are required. The product is intended for direct patching between switches, network storage and PoE devices in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

Features and Benefits:

• 10Gbps throughput supports high-bandwidth network traffic
• 500MHz bandwidth reduces crosstalk for clearer signals
• 27AWG stranded copper lowers conductor resistance for improved conductivity
• S/FTP construction provides enhanced EMI protection
• 100W PoE++ power delivery supplies demanding devices

Applications

• Used for connecting 10G switches to NAS units
• Suitable for powering PoE++ access points and cameras
• Ideal for routed installations in enclosed transport cabins
• Can be used with SFP modules and 10GBASE-T ports
• Used for integrating into existing Cat5/6 network infrastructure

What connector plating is used on the cable?

Both RJ45 ends use 50-micro gold-plated contacts to reduce wear and maintain contact quality.

How is each cable validated for category performance?

Each assembly is tested with a Fluke DSX2-8000 CableAnalyser and ETL verified to meet Cat6a criteria.

What materials form the cable shield and pair screening?

Each pair is wrapped in aluminium‑mylar foil with an overall tinned copper braid for screening.

What operating temperatures does the cable tolerate?

It operates between 0°C and 50°C and can be stored between -20°C and 60°C.
