Belden Ethernet Cable, 152m Cable Length, Black Jacket - 76021 BK002

This Ethernet cable is a shielded network cable designed for industrial and commercial installations where electromagnetic interference mitigation and long continuous runs are required. It combines a foil shield with a drain conductor and a Durable black polypropylene jacket to support data transmission in electrically noisy environments while permitting bulk deployment from a 152m roll.

Features & Benefits

• F/UTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference
• 24 AWG conductor geometry supports standard signal characteristics
• 300V rating permits use on typical low-voltage network power systems
• Polypropylene jacket provides Durable chemical and sunlight resistance
• Mylar core wrap maintains pair integrity during installation
• 3.0 twists/ft reduces crosstalk across cable length

**Applications**

• Suitable for industrial Ethernet installations in manufacturing plants
• Ideal for cabinet-to-cabinet runs in automation systems
• Used with switches and patch panels in plant networks
• Can be used for shielded Cat5e/compatible LAN backbones
• Suitable for bulk spooling to meet long continuous-run requirements

How is the shield implemented and terminated?

A foil (aluminium/mylar) wrap with 25% overlap surrounds the core and includes a tinned copper drain conductor to provide a convenient termination point for earthing.

What environmental temperatures can it withstand in service?

The cable is specified for continuous operation across a wide temperature span from -50 to 105°C for use in varied indoor and outdoor-exposed plant areas.

How does the construction control electrical performance metrics?

Tight pair twisting at 3.0 twists/ft, specified characteristic impedance around 100 Ω ±15, and conductor resistance values combine to manage insertion loss, skew and mutual capacitance for predictable link behaviour.

What mechanical limits apply during installation?

Maximum pull tension is 32.0 lb and a minimum bend radius of 8x the cable diameter should be observed to avoid damage.

How is continuous length supplied for large projects?

The product is available on bulk spools configured for long continuous lengths, with common spool sizes offered to support uninterrupted runs.
