RS Pro Digital Force Gauges are handheld devices that allow measurement for quality control operating force. The software and electronics of the force gauge convert the voltage of the load cell into a force value that is displayed on the instrument. This digital force gauge from the trusted RS PRO range converts the voltage of a load into a force value, letting you measure compression and tension on a variety of materials.
The gauge can display force in either kilograms, imperial pounds or Newtons. It has a maximum range of 49.03 N (5 kg), with an accuracy of ±0.5%. An optional test stand, sold separately, enables you to repeat the measurements at a frequency, for example in standard test procedures.
The digital force gauge works with the standard RS232 interface, meaning it's compatible with common computing software. You can download results directly into a range of applications, including Microsoft Excel. The device also takes an SD card for additional data storage or manual data transfer.
