Belden Alpha Wire Red Hook-Up Wire, 30m Length, 26AWG - Premium Series - 5853 RD005

This Belden Alpha Wire hook-up wire is a single-core cable that helps you wire up your electrical equipment. Its seven copper strands are twisted together to help resist electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). Silver plating on the conductor helps prevent corrosion wear. This pliant wire comes on a roll so you'll find it easy to store and handle. It's also flexible enough to feed through small gaps or around corners inside machinery. The 30m length gives you plenty of wire for connecting up several machines.

Features & Benefits

• Red colour-coded cable jacket is easy to identify

• Unterminated cable ends let you strip the wire and connect the copper core to any connector

• Operating temperature range between -60°C and +200°C for use in extreme industrial environments

Applications

• Consumer appliances

• Industrial devices

• Communication machines

• Power extensions

Is this hook-up wire insulated?

Yes, this hook-up wire's PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation has a high density to help minimise electrical power leaks. This material also has hydrophobic properties to help prevent water damage.
