Designed for through hole mounting with a 2.54mm pitch for the connection of ribbon cable.;The 40 way IDC plug features 2 rows of contacts constructed from hardwearing Brass providing excellent wear resistance protecting against breaks from repeated insertions with a Gold flash coating for a high level of conductivity contained within a hardwearing PBT housing.;Reliable and hardwearing with a simple long latch ejection system the IDC connector is ideal for relaying applications.
