RS PRO RS5505 Insulation and Continuity Tester

Insulation resistance testers are used to ensure the insulation of wiring is safe, or undamaged after electrical work has been carried out. Testers or megohmmeters are vital in preventing tripped fuses, electrical equipment and instrument breakdown, risk of electric shock or fires.

RS5505 is a great value digital insulation tester and continuity tester complying with IEC10101, CAT III for measurements performed in building installations. It features a compact light weight design for continuity and portability. Featuring double-moulded plastic housing providing ultimate protection from harsh environments. Also provided with this purchase are test leads, 6 x AA 1.5 V batteries, a plastic carrying case and user manual.
