The Mitutoyo Micrometer offers significantly faster measurement with a finer thread that enables the spindle to move 2 mm per drum revolution instead of the standard 0.5 mm. It features bidirectional communication for parameter setting via a PC using the Digimatic interface S1. The ratchet mechanism, controlled by both the drum and rapid advance, ensures ease of use, even with one-handed operation.
