RS PRO White Nylon Rod, 1 m x 45 mm Diameter

This RS PRO white nylon rod can be used to make durable and lightweight technical components. It's highly machinable and has a length of one metre, allowing you to make a large number of small components.

The rod has a UL (Underwriters' Laboratories) HB (Horizontal Burning) grade, indicating that it will burn slowly when exposed to flames. The nylon 66 material provides a high level of impact strength and is chemically resistant, ensuring consistent performance over a long period of time.

As this product has a high melting point, it can safely be used at high temperatures of up to +170°C. You'll commonly find it used for gears, wheels and bearings in aircraft equipment, as well as packaging and food processing equipment.
