The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Bus Controller enables the connection of X2X Link I/O nodes to a POWERLINK network. It supports synchronous operation of the X2X Link cycle either in a 1:1 ratio or synchronized with POWERLINK using a prescaler. Additionally, the bus modules extended to the left allow the connection of up to 2 interface modules alongside the bus controller. POWERLINK is a Fast Ethernet-based protocol designed with hard real-time communication capabilities.
