The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Controllers in the X20 Compact-S family are both powerful and compact. Their fanless, battery-free design makes them completely maintenance-free. It is equipped with an ARM Cortex-A9 166 MHz compatible processor, 128 MB RAM, and a 256 MB built-in flash drive. It also includes 8 kB of FRAM for storing remanent variables. With Ethernet, USB, and RS232, the controller offers a wide range of communication options, along with an optional RS485 or CAN interface.
