Manufacturer part numbers prefixed with 1874, 18262 and 18263 have a 45° wire entry (SMSTB 2,5 - ST), prefixed with 1971 have a 45° wire entry and a screw mounting flange (SMSTB 2,5 - STF), prefixed with 17772, 17773 and 17774 have a front screw connection and a horizontal wire entry (FRONT-MSTB - ST).

The female connector has eight terminal points, with a pitch distance of 5.08 mm between each. Screw connections achieve a tight and secure fit without the need for specialised tools.
As the connector accepts wire sizes of 24 to 12 AWG (American Wire Gauge), it's a versatile choice. You can connect two wires of the same cross-section at the terminals.
