ECG 2 click mikroBUS™ Bundle

The MikroElektronika ECG 2 Click Board is an accessory board that provides a simple method of adding electrocardiogram measurement hardware to a development platform.

This starter kit variant provides the required electrodes and cables in addition to the ECG 2 Click Board.

Like all Click Boards the ECG Click 2 fits the popular mikroBUS™ socket, creating a plug-in solution to add functionality, removing the need for hardware configuration.

The ECG Click 2 measures electrical activity of the heart through electrodes taped to the skin. For 3 wire measurement the electrodes connect to the board via a 3.5 mm jack. For 4 wire measurement, screw terminals are provided.

The circuity of the ECG Click 2 is based around the TI ADS1194, a 16-bit Analogue Front End optimised for biopotential measurement. The board circuitry amplifies the electrical signals from the heart, filters out noise and converts the signal into digital. This data is then communicated to the mother development board via SPI.

The MikroElektronika MikroPlot software, a free to download data visualisation tool, can be used to analyse the data generated and create an ECG plot.
