Whenever you need a fastener for light-duty applications where there is a limitation of space, Hexagon Countersunk, metric threaded Socket Screw is a natural fit.

We are proudly introducing our own branded RS PRO 16 mm Hexagon Screw to sit flush or below the surface of your material. These screws are widely used in many applications where a reliable and robust joint is required. Typically, Countersunk socket screws are used to fasten plates and strips of metal to equipment and machinery as their flat Head allows a flush, balanced finish. Our range of Socket Screws is made of mild steel, and if painted or suitably treated, these Screws can be used outside.

Countersunk Head Socket Cap Screw comes in 10.9-grade Steel and with a black finish, creates a stylish, quality appearance to your small or big project. The threaded bolt screws into the socket and can be tightened or undone using an Allen Key or a Hex Key. They have various tip point types, which include:

  • Cup Point - concave tip, most commonly used

  • Flat Point - used for frequent resetting or relocating, cost-effective and straightforward

  • Cone Point – pointed tip, designed for a more permanent installation, highest holding capability due to the precise contact of the cone point

  • Half Dog Point – the tip is cylindrical
