RS PRO Round Speaker Driver, 1.5 W nom, 8 Ω
If you need to broadcast sound across a loudspeaker or alarm, a speaker driver is an essential component in your sound-delivery system. The RS PRO round speaker driver is a reliable component, especially in systems that require multiple tones. The mylar cone speaker is also weatherproof, so it can function effectively in damp conditions where paper equivalents are unsuitable.
Mylar is a stretched polyester film that's light and flexible, as well as durable. Installation is easy, with just two points to solder. This 66 mm round speaker has a nominal power rating of 1.5 W and 8 Ω impedance. It's been subjected to rigorous testing for performance and quality, as you'd expect from the RS PRO range.
Thanks to its weatherproof properties, this mylar cone speaker driver can be used both indoors and outdoors. It's found in intercom and PA systems in schools and offices.
