The Chauvin Arnoux SK15 surface sensor with spring is used for flat surfaces. The spring provides optimum contact, even if the sensor is not placed perpendicular to the surface. Silicon grease improves the contact quality. It has spiral cord which can extend from 45 cm to 1 m and 8 mm diameter. It has measuring range from -50°C to 900°C.
