RS PRO Plain Nylon Threaded Rod, M12, 1m

RS PRO brings you a fantastic range of nylon threaded rods. Designed to be used as a fastener, the threading on these rods causes a tightening with rotational movement. These threaded rods are manufactured from nylon 66 and therefore have impact and corrosion resistance providing a tough and durable fastener. Threaded rods provide electrical insulation and are fully threaded so that fixings like bolts and nuts can screw on or fasten to them.


This range of nylon threaded rods come in various metric screw thread sizes, from M4 to M12, meaning their functionality covers a variety of applications. These rods are easily customisable as they can be cut to length to suit your application as the rod is all-thread.

Threaded rods also known as threaded bars are generally made from nylon, steel, stainless steel, brass or zinc plated so there is a version available to best suit their application. Their main use is to fasten wood or metal together, but they are also used to stabilise structures by being inserted into concrete and can be done so on a permanent or temporary basis. Their threading also allows for bolts or nuts to easily fasten to it where required.
