The Dormer Straight Flute Hand Taps are UNC-threaded tools manufactured to ISO standards, offering excellent versatility for both hand use and machine tapping in through or blind holes. They are ideal for medium-strength, medium carbon, and alloy steels. The set includes three taps with different chamfer lengths: a taper lead for short through holes, a plug lead for deeper through holes, and a bottoming lead specifically suited for blind holes.
