The bright finish to produce more accurate and cleaner threads preventing the work piece material from sticking to the cutting edges. This machine tap has powder metallurgical HSS E with bright finish and 45 degree helix angle for 2.5xD blind hole threading in free machining and plain carbon steel and wrought or cast aluminium.
