RS PRO Pro Ergo Quickset Torque Driver
From RS PRO, this Pro Ergo Quickset torque driver is robust, reliable and an ideal solution for all hex driving applications. With an ergonomic ribbed adjusting collar, torque value can be set quickly and easily to suit the job at hand. There is even a micrometer scale to make sure the torque is as exact as you need it to be.
This adjustment ability doesn't just make life easier for the operator, its cam-over technology reduces the possibility of over-tightening, which can lead to damage of fasteners or surrounding panels. As such, this tool is ideal when quick and careful tightening is needed in professional applications.
This enhanced version of the quickset torque driver features a removable t-bar for extra leverage.
Quickset Standard Torque Drivers enable any consumer to deliver the correct torque with confidence regardless of task and operator skill level. They are fast and accurate to set, and like all torque drivers have a bi-directional mechanism that signals when desired torque has been achieved.
Features and Benefits
• 1/4 in. Female Hexagon spindle to suit screwdriver bits
• ISO scale versions
• Mechanism signals when the set torque has been achieved
• Bi-directional operation with consistent repeat accuracy
• Specially designed rubber hand grip
• Precision radial ball clutch and cam design provides automatic resetting
• Positive locking system prevents accidental adjustment
• Micrometer adjustment for easy, accurate setting
• QSN 600 is supplied with a removable Tee Bar to provide extra leverage
• Accuracy ±6% of reading
Applications
The torque driver has a 1/2 hex head which is common driver size that can correspond with many different interchangeable heads and bits. From pozidriv to nut driver, this torque driver can be customised to suit most fastener types. As such, this tool is highly versatile, and is often used by;
• Mechanics
• Machinists
• Technicians
• Maintenance Engineers
Tool Care
In order to function correctly, these adjustable torque drivers must be pre-set using a suitable Torque Analyser. See our Torque Analyser range for details.
