LAPP Screened Twisted-Pair Data Cable, 100m Length, 4 Pairs - UNITRONIC Series - 0035802

Use this data cable from LAPP to send information directly to your hardware. With its finely stranded bare copper cores, it provides your devices with the efficient conductivity needed to meet data transmission demands. The cable's twisted pair design gives it the flexibility to conform to even the hard-to-reach areas of your work setting. As the four cores are colour-coded for easy identification, you spend less time on wire organisation and maintenance.

Features & Benefits

• Tinned copper braid screening works with the cable's twisted pair design to minimise disruption from crosstalk and electromagnetic interference

• Strong PVC sheath is flame-resistant to protect your information network against fire

• Supplied on a 100m reel for easy handling and organised storage

Applications

• Measuring and instrumentation control

• Manufacturing assembly lines

• Energy distribution industry

What is crosstalk and how do twisted pair cables minimise it?

Crosstalk happens when two electrical currents flow beside each other. The electromagnetic fields generated by each current interact and cause disruption to both electrical connections. By carrying currents in opposing directions, twisted pair cables cancel out this interference.
