Use this vacuum pump from Festo in applications that need a high suction capacity. It's frequently used with suction cups in process control to move objects pneumatically without causing any damage. The device removes molecules of Air from a sealed volume, leaving behind a partial vacuum. It's easy to integrate directly into a system thanks to its slim width of 24mm wide. The vacuum pump housing and nozzle are MADE from POM (polyoxymethylene), which is strong and resistant to wear. The silencer is MADE from robust die-cast aluminium, so it's suitable for harsh industrial environments where moisture and dirt are present. The unit also includes resilient polyurethane foam that's effective at damping high-frequency sound waves.
