The Ansmann Trio head features a non-replaceable rechargeable Li-ion battery pack with a residual battery capacity indicator consisting of 4 blue LEDs. The number of illuminated LEDs reflects the remaining battery capacity. A low battery warning is triggered when one LED begins to blink. When the warning threshold is reached, the light source flickers three times in quick succession as a single alert. If the lamp is turned off without being charged, the flicker will repeat once immediately upon the next activation. The standby current drain from the battery pack is less than 110 μA. The device also includes a 2 meter tripod.
