This three-core flex mains power cable is used in telephone and communication systems and consists of 2 x 4.0 mm² cores and 1 x 6.0 mm² core. It's screened to ensure reliable transmission, which means there are foil and braid screens to shield the wires from electromagnetic noise, minimising cross-talk between conductors and preventing radiation from the cable itself. This double layer of screening makes it ideal for areas where there may be high levels of electrical interference.
As a stranded cable housed in pliant grey PVC insulation, it offers great flexibility. It can be used at temperatures of up to 80˚C and has a current rating of 30 A and a voltage rating of 300 V. The cable's outer diameter is 13.9 mm and it's available in 50-metre reels.
It's also RoHS compliant, so you can rest assured it doesn't contain dangerous levels of any hazardous substances.
