So we build up a deck of products for surge protection, power supply, overcurrent protection, which guarantees you a maximum availability of your plant or machinery.
Power reliability is crucial to avoid costly
machine downtimes. We as a global manufacturer with more than 11 countries with our plant operations, we know what we're talking about, and we ourselves are interested in the lowest possible machine downtimes.
We play a pivotal role in the transition to more greener energy. Our customers and partners can realize carbon-neutral planned as a manufacturer, for example. So by using us, we will bring a solution and enable the users such as grid operators or power plant operators or public services into a position where they can really build up an intelligent network and make the most out of the generated energy.
Especially if we talk about Power-to-X, there are many, many application fields where traditional battery storage just cannot be used. You can also bring the green benefits to operations like maybe cars or planes or plants which are just not being able to operate by green energy storage systems. Furthermore, it's for us of utmost importance that since a few years we are Scope 1 and Scope 2 working carbon neutral in power supply for our plants in Germany.

I really like to show you 0:15 today our solutions for the wind 0:17 industry. 0:18 Fenix contact is driving a holistic 0:20 approach for the monitoring of wind 0:23 turbines which knowing the state of your 0:26 path at the wind turbine. you know when 0:30 repair is necessary, when a degradation 0:32 of the win turbine is starting and that 0:34 means of course you can plan your 0:37 maintenance, do predictive maintenance 0:39 and avoid unnecessary downtimes and 0:42 repairs or even complete failure of 0:44 those components. 0:46 Before there was for every specific 0:48 system a specific vendor that was used. 0:50 So you had one for load monitoring, you 0:52 had another one for structure health or 0:54 ice detection and the third one maybe 0:55 for lightning monitoring. With the Fenix 0:57 contact technology, everything is put 1:00 into place at the PLC next technology 1:02 for one vendor. With monitoring 1:04 solutions from Fenix Conduct, you can 1:06 monitor the complete wind farm or the 1:08 wind turbine and check all the expensive 1:11 parts inside a wind turbine, avoid 1:13 repairs and unnecessary downtimes. 1:19 As we have these open platform, the PLC 1:22 next technology comes into play. It is 1:24 easier to reuse existing software or add 1:27 applications that are written for 1:28 example also from third parties to 1:30 integrate in our Phoenix contact 1:32 ecosystem and simplify the broader use 1:35 inside wind farms or put this into 1:38 project specific uses. 1:40 For example, you have a wind farm here 1:43 in Germany where it is needed to have 1:44 ice detection. So you just use an app 1:47 from the Fenix content app store and put 1:49 this into play at the turbine and then 1:52 the ice detection is working and this of 1:54 course drives down costs and with just 1:56 using the app with one sensor from Fenix 1:59 contact into it is easier and easier to 2:01 integrate for the end users 2:05 from a broad use of different suppliers 2:07 different vendors. to bring everything 2:08 down to one supplier terminal blocks to 2:11 power supplies and ending up at the 2:13 complete control system for the turbine. 2:16 Thanks for joining us here up Tower and 2:19 hope you enjoyed the time and the 2:20 presentation.
